South African Private Sector Remains in Contraction During October

On 5 November, Reuters reported that a business survey showed South Africa’s private sector remained in contraction during October, with weak demand, higher fuel costs and port and shipping disruptions affecting activity. Separately, November fuel prices effective 4 November placed inland 95-octane petrol at R30.24 per litre and coastal 95-octane petrol at R29.37 per litre. These figures create demand for cost analysis, market forecasting and supply-chain research. HPC can provide pricing intelligence, competitor analysis and sector reports.
