South Sudan and UAE Company Sign Petroleum Investment Memorandum

On 1 November, industry reporting confirmed a memorandum between South Sudan’s Ministry of Petroleum and UAE-based Bianchi Gold Trading Investment Company covering potential cooperation in oil and gas exploration, infrastructure, refining, storage and distribution. The memorandum is intended to attract finance and technical expertise, but no confirmed investment value, financing terms or completed project commitment was published. The agreement creates potential opportunities for engineering contractors, oilfield suppliers and infrastructure partners; HPC can support investor mapping, feasibility research and supplier assessments.
